American Eduction
Todays eduction system is being bombarded by Government officials with no idea how to properly run a classroom let alone an entire school system. Researches have spend years trying to learn the best ways for teachers to teach and the best way for students to learn. None of this research is being used to make decisions about American Eduction. Did you realize that in the state of Arizona 100% of all students are expected to pass the AIMS test (Arizona's state test) by the year 2010. This is literally an impossible task. This requirement includes special eduction. There is no taking into account students that have no desire to learn, with parents that have the same attitude. What are we as teachers supposed to do to get every kid to pass a state standardized test when there is no support of any kind from parents. This of course is referring to those parents who don't support their student's learning. There are many wonderful parents who do their best to help their student(s) succeed. |
